Drag to set position!

YOU MAY NOT HIDE IN THE PHOTOS POSTED IN THIS GROUP. The point is so that we can SEE YOU. I know all you cool flickr-ites like to do creatively obscure self-portraiture, but that's not what's happening here, capisce?

Group Description

So many people around here are anonymous ... which can be kind of nice, I realize. On the other hand, sometimes I'd like a face to put to the persona behind the streams I love most! Some people already have self-portraits posted, but they're buried, and others have never uploaded a photo of themselves. I invite you all to stand and be counted, in this group.

So come on out of the shadows, and introduce yourself! Post ONE photo of yourself, taken within the last five years. Go ahead, be creative if you want to ... but please don't post an overly-obscure portrait; it doesn't have to be a sterile mugshot, but it should be a recognizable image!

Also, you should be the only adult in the pic. Know what I mean? We don't want to guess who you are!

If you're nervous, just remember, you can control a lot about a photo of yourself :-)

I'm inviting everyone on my contacts list, even though a lot of you have self portraits galore, and even sets of yourself. I'm thinking of this as a flickr rollcall. Invite everyone on your list, too! (Don't worry, if they're already members, they won't get the invite).

I suggest that if you are going to use an image already uploaded, you copy and re-load it, and name it "pleased to meet you". That way, if you want to update your image, you can easily find it and use flickr's "replace" feature; the image will be updated in the group, too.

Pleased to meet you!
