Our judge, Yahoo! Royal Wedding Ambassador and former BBC Royal Correspondent Jennie Bond chose the photo because "not only is it beautifully shot, with a great eye for colour and for humour, it also sums up a key part of what The People’s Royal Wedding Album was all about – becoming a historical document for future generations like Bethany and showing the true story of what people did for the wedding.”

It was a really tough job as we were so overwhelmed by all the entries, and so many fantastic ones, so thank you again to everyone who has submitted!

We're still open to ideas for what to do to share all these photos with a wider audience, so please do let us know your ideas!

Group Description

This group is ‘The People’s Royal Wedding Album’– a group set up by Yahoo! that aims to capture the people’s take on the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Whether it’s photos of celebrations down the pub, your pet in royal regalia, camped in a sleeping bag on the Mall, a fantastic knitted souvenir, such as the wonderful blanket stitched by Mrs. Twins that makes up the header for this group or getting away from it all on a far away beach, Yahoo!’s ‘People’s Royal Wedding Album’ wants to capture it all, hopefully with a sense of humour, for future generations to laugh and point at.

This group is open to everyone – and we'd love to see what people outside the UK make of the Royal Wedding. However, if you're resident in the UK, Royal Wedding fever has made us doolally and we are offering a £5000 ‘honeymoon’* as a prize for the best snap. Upload your photo by the 3rd of May, and Yahoo!’s Royal Wedding expert Jennie Bond will pick a winner.

Please read and agree to these Group Rules before submitting content to the People’s Royal Wedding Album (‘Group’). Please note that the Group Rules are separate to the People’s Royal Wedding Competition terms, which only UK residents are eligible for and which the terms follow the Group Rules below.

1.This Group is run by Yahoo! UK Limited (company number 03244285), 125 Shaftesbury Avenue, London WC2H 8AD, United Kingdom ("Yahoo!").

2.By joining this group you agree to these terms and conditions which will at that time become binding between you and Yahoo!.

3.These terms and conditions and all matters arising from or in connection with them are governed by English law and the courts of England will have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any such dispute.

4.By adding your photo to the Group, you represent and warrant to Yahoo! and Flickr that your submitted photo is consistent with the Flickr Community Guidelines at www.flickr.com.guidelines.gne and the Flickr Terms of Use at www.flickr.com/terms.gne, your photo is an original work taken by you, free from any third party rights, in particular that under no circumstances does it constitute, whether entirely or in parts, any infringement upon the intellectual property rights or any other rights of third parties, and that any persons depicted in your photo have consented to the distribution and display of the photo with no remuneration of any kind being payable to them.

5.Further, by adding your photo to the Group, you provide Yahoo! and Flickr with a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license (but not the obligation) to use, copy, modify, translate and/or adapt, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display by any means and in any media, your photo solely in connection with the inclusion of your photo.

6.The rights shall be applied to all existing or future media, and in particular all physical, optical, magnetic, analogical, digital and electronic media, including media such as hardcopies, magnetic tapes, floppy disks, CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, hard disks, computers and servers, the Internet, all private or public telecommunication networks, by cable, satellite, radio networks, etc.

7.Your photograph in the Group will be displayed on Yahoo! owned media, online properties and social media outposts, with the title you give your photograph and your Flickr screen name.

8.You consent to allow Yahoo! to contact you through Flickr Mail regarding any enquiry Yahoo! might have related to your submission to the Group.

9.Yahoo! shall not be obliged to display photographs and shall not be liable for any entrant’s loss of publicity or enhancement of reputation. Yahoo! reserves the right to cancel the Group if deemed necessary at any stage.

10.By entering your photograph to the People’s Royal Wedding Album Flickr Group you are deemed to have accepted the above Group Rules.

Competition terms

The People’s Royal Wedding Album competition (‘Competition’) is only open to residents of the United Kingdom. In order to be eligible for the competition, you must agree to the following terms and conditions:

1.This Group and competition is run by Yahoo! UK Limited (company number 03244285), 125 Shaftesbury Avenue, London WC2H 8AD, United Kingdom ("Yahoo!").

2.By joining this group you agree to these terms and conditions which will at that time become binding between you and Yahoo!. Your participation in the competition is in consideration for Yahoo! allowing you to enter it and giving you the opportunity to win.

3.No purchase is necessary in order to enter the competition. There is no fee charged to enter into this prize draw other than the cost of you accessing the Internet which you would otherwise have.

4.You must be over 18 and a resident of the United Kingdom to enter into this competition and receive the prize if you win. Employees of Yahoo! or any of their group companies or its agencies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter or participate. Entrants will be deemed to be the natural person to whom the Flickr account is registered. Only five entries per person are permitted.

5.To be eligible, you must submit your application as detailed on the competition entry submission page at flickr.com/groups/peoplesroyalwedding. Entries must be received not later than 1800 hours (UK time) on 3rd May 2011 at which time the competition will close.

6.The prize for the competition is £5000, there is no alternative prize. Any pictures used to promote the prize are for information only. The winner is responsible for its own travel, accommodation and subsistence in relation to the prize. The winner must also comply with Yahoo!’s instructions about the prize, such as how to conduct themselves while participating in the prize.

7.Yahoo!’s Royal Wedding Expert, Jennie Bond will select one winner from amongst the complete entries on 9th May 2011. Yahoo!'s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be contacted via Flickr Mail and their details may also be posted on the Yahoo! website

8.Every reasonable effort will be made to contact the winner. If a winner cannot be contacted within one week of the relevant prize draw end date, the prize will revert to Yahoo! and may be awarded to another entrant at Yahoo!’s absolute discretion.

9.The prize will be sent by registered post or courier to the address provided by the winner. Yahoo! does not accept any responsibility for any failure by the postal service to deliver the prizes or the winner's failure to accept delivery of his/her prize.

10.Your personal information may be used by Yahoo! to conduct the competition for participation in the prize and in accordance with Yahoo!'s Privacy Policy, currently located at privacy.yahoo.com/privacy/uk, subject to the following, which shall be in addition to the Privacy Policy:
(a) if you are the winner of the prize, Yahoo! may use your information collected during the competition for marketing or promotional purposes, including using your name and likeness to announce the winners online as described above in section 6;

13.Yahoo! may terminate these terms and conditions, the competition or any prize if you do not comply with any of these terms and conditions or are unlikely to do so, if Yahoo! decides in its absolute discretion to withdraw the competition before any winners are notified, or thereafter if any circumstances beyond Yahoo!’s reasonable control prevent or restrict Yahoo! or any other person or party from providing the prize or any aspect of the prize.

14.You agree that (unless applicable law requires otherwise) any right that you have under applicable law to cancel ends when the winner of the competition is announced. If thereafter you cannot participate in any prize for reasons beyond your reasonable control, you must notify Yahoo! and Yahoo! may in its absolute discretion give that prize to someone else.

15.You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations, or subcontract your obligations, under these terms and conditions, such as giving a prize to anyone else, without Yahoo!’s prior written consent. 16.Yahoo! or its licensors retain and reserves all rights in and to each website, and all aspects of the competition and each prize, including all derivatives, developments, modifications and improvements.

17.These terms and conditions, and any instructions from Yahoo!, constitute the entire agreement between you and Yahoo!, superseding any prior agreements between you and Yahoo!. Any failure or delay by Yahoo! in exercising or enforcing, or partial exercise or enforcement of, any right or provision of these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision (or waive any further exercise or enforcement) or any other right or provision.
