Book Review

Its been about 40 years since I've been to photog school. I still remember the painful days spending all day and night in the dark room getting ready for finals. Life was so much simpler then.
Sooo I pick up "Light Science & Magic" as a refresher. All I can say is it would of been nice to have this as a textbook. Maybe for Photographic Light 101. In my humble opinion this will be the best $30 or so you'll ever spend for a lesson of light and its properties. Not a dry rendition but a very informative and clear teaching of this topic.
If you understanding of light isn't better after reading this book then you'll need a book of learning how to read english.

Hey Glen it can't be 40 years ago cause you look like you're 47.

That book is a staple around the Strobist world. To go further have a peek at "Faces" by the same authors.
