Hey guys have another quick question. How do you guys shoot outside with strobes when it's raining/wet. Is there a diy way to water Proof strobes vagabonds and cameras?
If I can secure my equipment I'm sure I can get some pretty cool rain shots.

Thanks

580 EX II's are weather sealed. I bought two the first day I could.

I usually bring along plastic bags for my speedlights and trashbags for my white lightnings/vagabond. And umbrella for me and my camera :)

So trash bags work? I use alienbees so they are alot bigger then speedlites.

Camera protection is easy with (ProPhotoSupply here in Portland has both ):

Protection for your AB and Vagabond is tricky since I think it would need to "breath" and protection not be sealed off completely. I'm sure you could try something like this for your AB:

And something like this for the Vagabond:

OK ya you can get by cheaper with household bags but I always say spend your money on something that will last.

good luck.

I know this is a old post but I always use one gallon ziplock backs bunged over my speedlights
