Thanks to all that made the shoot. It was very successful. Please send the models a few hi-res images for their efforts. They worked hard for us. (And froze their buns)

The standard PDX Strobist policy is to upload images to their galleries on www.PDXStrobist.org . If you can't figure this out, contact them directly via Model Mayhem addresses listed below.

It was fun organizing this. Maybe I will work with Jeff in getting some others together. Stay tuned...

I have been wanting to do a night shoot on the East Bank Esplanade all winter. The weather is getting more cooperative. It looks like this Friday is supposed to be pretty clear.

The city view is of course well known from here. But so are a lot of industrial / urban kinds of things that could be fun to work with. All within a short walking distance.

I would like to meet at 6:30 PM at the SE Salmon St. parking lot. This is near the Hawthorne bridge. If you park on Salmon St., the parking is free. If you park in the lot, make sure you pay. It is regularly patrolled. (Don't ask how I know this.)

Here are a few test shots I grabbed during a 15 minute stop. I didn't have a tripod or modifiers with me so pretty basic but will give you some idea of possibilities:

Sunset is around 7:30 so we can catch the "golden hour."

This is a very informal get together. Not a formal meet up. Post a reply if you can make it. Models and photographers are of course both encouraged to come!

Most importantly, the weather forecast is for CLEAR!!

Michelle Allen - MM 890205
Satheara - MM 412882 (we all know and love her)
Jes - (BlueEyed Devil) - MM 774901

Alright people, this is some really solid talent. Let's get some more photographers out there and have some fun! It looks like the ratio is going to be awesome!

The nearest cross street in case you're using GPS or Maps is SE 2nd and SE Salmon St.

Call me if there are any questions re this meetup
