Just a reminder that the shots from the May meetup are due today. Please post to the pdxstrobist.org site asap. For instructions, see the previous post on this topic.

Also, please provide the full size file (at least something that can be printed at 8" x 10"), and please do not add a copyright note to the photo as the models should not have to come back to the photographer for a copyright release to be able to print. If you feel you need to put a copyright on it, at least state for promotional or portfolio use only in the copyright. I think providing these with as little hassle as possible is the least we can do for our incredible- and unpaid, models.

Is it alright to add my logo though?

Frankly, I don't know. I would assume it is fine, as it doesn't prevent the model from using or printing the photo, but gives a reference back to the photographer.

Anybody else have any input on this?

So do we want to give the models images that they can print? Or just stuff for their online portfolio. Because most labs wont print anything that looks professional done without a release form from the photographer.

I thought the goal was to give them something for their portfolio... online or print.

Please don't put your logo ON the print as most places won't print it for the models.

I think that below the model is fine if you put that it's okay to print for portfolio use. They are not going to refuse to print something that says it's okay for portfolio use for the person in the pic but it's clear that if the model shows the pic to someone that they won't just see it and think they can use if to another use.
