Thank you to everyone who showed up.

Thanks to the photographers for sharing techniques and tools.

Thanks to the models for being so willing and able.

Thanks to our hosts for making it possible.

I had the greatest time today. I learned many things. I have more to learn. I'm already looking forward to next time.

Thanks to everyone (with a special shout out to Jeff, Mike, and the awesome models) for a really great day. It was insanely fun getting together with you guys and gals once again, and we should make every attempt possible to do this on a semi-regular basis.

I also wanted to thank everyone for the help with questions and setup help. Thanks to the models as well...everyone was really fun to work with.

Thanks to my group (#4) Mike, Ken, Chris for showing me some great tips and answering all my questions.

Can't wait till the next one. Hopefully I will have more gear!

Want to put in my two cents of thanks, I had a really fun time. Good exposure for those of us who don't/haven't worked with models much.

Thanks to Jeff, Luke and David in my group it was a blast.
Thank you Jeff and Mike, for the space and herding the cats(photographers), and letting us use a studio and get more hands on lighting going on.

Lots of fun and good things were learned by a few of us. :)

Great fun everyone. This was my first event and will not be my last. Does anyone know the models full names? I know that I have images of Aimee, Katt, and Wendy but don't know there last names. I want to make sure they are tagged correctly.

I would like to say thanks to Jeff and Mike as well. Thanks to Mr. Monroe also for helping me with my ringflash and for showing us his latest new invention. It was great to work with Audrey again and thanks also for Aimee, Wendy, Katt and Juls Madel
for coming out and putting up with us photogeeks.

I would also like to say that working with our small group (David, Jeff and Jon) was really cool. It was nice to get help and bounce ideas off one another.

You guys rocks !! I learned so much stuff from your guys and it is great learning experience, special thanks to Ken, Mike and Jeff and Models for organizing the event and make it happen. I look forward to the next one, and any recommendation of where I can get a Canon 580EX II flash? It seems that I have dire need for it in the next event :-)

ProPhoto Supply actually has ones priced lower than a lot of Internet sites.

Another big thank you to everyone there. I planned to stay an hour or two, lurk in the background and just learn a bit. 4.5 hours and 200+ shots later and I left with a huge smile on my face and a card full of images I didn't think were possible. I learned more in those hours than in months of lurking on Strobist (and I have learned a ton from Strobist). I had never worked with models before, never had other photographers to learn from, and had never even seen much of the equipment in use.

Jon, Luke & Jeff (group 1) were hugely helpful and I learned alot from you guys. Jon, thanks for your constant help w/ my equipment. I also enjoyed the format of the day (working w/ a single group and rotating stations) and thought it worked well. Can't wait for the next one!

The models were;

Wendy Behrend (short blonde hair, wearing black, cleavage)

Cat Coats (Korean)

Aimee Diviney
(super thin, long curly blond hair, arrived at start, boyfriend nearby)

Audrey Walker
(long blonde straight hair, colorful blueish dress, arrived later)

Then I didn't get the name of the roller derby woman so hopefully somebody will help out here.

Thanks to everyone who put this together! Hopefully I'll make it to the entire meeting next time, but I'm glad I came to this one for a couple of hours at least.

I saw a list of discount codes for B&H on the other day, but I can't find it now. The aforementioned $339.95 sounds about like the price I saw, however.
