It would appear the vast majority of the strobist pictures are portraits. While I use my off-camera flash for lots of things like light painting and flowers (which I won't post here) I don't take too many portraits. Would those be appropriate? I posted one (a non-portrait) that I took during the summer to the group... but I'm not sure.

Off-camera flash is off-camera flash :-D

Every subject requires lighting in its own way. Taking a photo of painting would require a more "even" light, where a flower or human would have more "dramatic" lighting, etc.

I say, post them!

lost america has posted 250+ photos on the strobist group, and all his photos are light painting at night.
