Group DescriptionThe Smithsonian's National Zoo needs your help with our cubwatch!
The whole world is excited about Mei Xiang’s cub, Bei Bei, who was born Aug. 22, 2015.
Our panda team (and the world) are watching Mei Xiang do an excellent job caring for Bei Bei via the panda cams. If you see Bei Bei while watching the panda cam, take a screen grab and share the picture with us here. Please be sure to include the date and time stamp on the photos you share! We'll be thrilled to see it, and you'll help us build a digital scrapbook of our new cub. (nationalzoo.si.edu/Animals/GiantPandas/default.cfm?cam=LP1).
In order to share your photos, please tag your images as Creative Commons-Noncommercial-Attribution (CC-NC-BY) so that the Smithsonian may use these images on the web, through social media, in publications, and in press releases, which will allow the media and public to use these images as well. If you post a screenshot of the panda cam, please give attribution to the Smithsonian’s National Zoo (as required by www.si.edu/termsofuse). You do not need to credit the Smithsonian if you are posting an image you took during your visit to the National Zoo.
And thank you–the Smithsonian appreciates your volunteer efforts to share the wonder of these moments.
