Please only submit photos with BOTH colours present in the same image: If I can't see blue AND orange, it will be removed! To those people who submit a shot that is all blue, and then another that is all orange, that's not it.Decisions on what is and isn't an orange colour are subjective. For example, some rust is very orange! But not all rusty shots will be right for us.Certain rocks can be very orange; others more terra cotta or ochre. No ginger cats please. Not even yours.
Group DescriptionImages of anything with the dominant colors of orange and blue
Group RulesTHE ORANGE AND BLUE GROUP
This group is for your photos with predominant colors of blue and orange
That's both colors please! Together they are cheerful and harmonious and create an eye-catching contrast - they are one of the three complementary color pairs, which is what colors opposite each other on the color wheel are called (Other complementary pairs are are red and green; purple and yellow).
By blue we don't mean blue-ish grey or purple, equally by orange we don't mean yellow, red or brown.
If you take a look at your photo and your eyes are not immediately telling you "there is a good strong blue/orange colour there", then it probably doesn't belong in this group.
Especially if you have tagged or described the colour that is supposed to be orange as red, for example.

When you come across a great photo in our group, whether it catches your eye for its composition or hits the spot with its harmonious colors, please show your appreciation of the photographer's talent by commenting on it. Let's make this a friendly place!
This is not a place for showcasing all and sundry - photos must fulfill the color theme. Photos which don't fulfil the theme will be removed without warning.
