The theme of this challenge is THE HEART OF SPACE. The pictures used here are from the NASA APOD Archives, NASA Multimedia Page and GRIN Archives.

Congrats to Sammydavisdog who won Challenge #11 with this cool edit here. He'll be chosing one image from the above links for this month's challenge.


************************ RULES ************************

1 - REMIX one or more of the images provided.
2 - Post a medium size photo to this thread.
3 - Link to the NASA Remix Project group and specify the contest name "NASA Remix Project, Challenge #12 - THE HEART OF SPACE" under your entry.
4 - Credit any of the Flickr members photos, textures, etc. you may use.
5 - You must post a link to the NASA picture used if you use other pictures from their website. Our Admins review all entries submitted and entries without a link will be deleted from the challenge without further notice.
6 - Please tag your photo NASA Remix.
7 - Number and title your entries, to make it more interesting.

Not sure if this counts, but I had fun doing it. It's a thriftshop purse that I upcycled. I painted the background to look like the Heart of Orion image in this challenge; the foreground is from the GRIN Archives (it's a Goddard mathematician in 1964).
