ummm. guys? i did something really stupid. i left food in my mr. B and left it in the trunk of my car. i totally forgot about bento's existence until today... the food has been in there for... *blush* maybe a month?

i'm scared to open it.

Hey, it's only $15 for a new set of bowls. :)

You can buy extra bowls?! Where? According to Amazon & UPS, my Mr. Bento should be delivered tomorrow and I'm very excited.

I've done it. It's not fun, but, actually Mr. B is so air tight and water tight, I was surprised how simple it was to get it out and clean it. Bleach, as Amanky suggests, and, I set it in the sun for awhile, too. That said, mine was only abandoned a week -- not a month. I've also ordered extra bowls, directly from the Zoji site. I wanted one set that can be nuked and stained red without my caring, and one set that isn't, and no blending of flavors or scents from sweet and savory stuff. The Zoji people were great.

Bleach and maybe borrow an Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus from the local fire department. I don't imagine it's going to smell very good.

Don't underestimate leaving the open containers out in sunlight.
