Thank you so much for inviting me to post the photo of my comfrey blossoms. I never would have found this group otherwise and I'm absolutely thrilled to be part of it. I have been looking at some of the members' photos and I just know I'm going to learn so much.

Thanks for the invite; as a native-plants geek, I try to know (a) what grows in my yard and (b) whether we can eat it. :-> I've uploaded several more pictures, and as soon as I've edited this spring's shots of New Mysteries, I intend to post more.

thanks for the invite. i've really enjoyed looking at the photos here and will post a few from time to time. i'm really into california native plants, but medicinal plants from anywhere are interesting too. it's in my genes - my great grandmother was a healer who collected wild plants in northern new england and made pills and concoctions which she sold door-to-door. i've studied medicinal plants from new england, california, honduras, ecuador, thailand, and australia and it's always an exciting topic.

Thank you for inviting me! This is a group I know I will enjoy, I like to read about and find wild edible plants and mushrooms, and to use them in meals, teas and to spice spirits. I`m also growing the most usual herbs in my garden, and these days the early sorts are popping up here in the south of Norway.

Thanks for the invitation. My first one on flickr! Some super photos in this group, too. Glad to be included.

Just found this, I also wanted to add my thanks here for the invite. It's nice that people still care about these things, especially when the world is going the other way, native plants and gardens are disappearing under spanking new roads, bridges and houses.

Thank you so much for the invitation to share my pumpkin seed photo in your group. Sounds like a group up my alley.
Thank you again!

Thanks for inviting my photo of false garlic. It is a very common 'weed' in my area. Much unappreciated both for its beauty and uses. I have never met a true 'weed', only plants out of place.
LisaKHMD 10 years ago
Thanks for the invitation to share my Bugle photo - there's loads of it around here at the moment and it looks wonderful.

I must echo ~Sailor~'s sentiments about weeds and plants out of place :)

Weeds to some are wildflowers to others

I hope it is OK to post this here. If not, please delete it and slap my wrists.

I agree absolutely. Many "weeds" may be harvested in organic farms as medicinal plants. Simply these plants grow without supplementary work. :)
