Drag to set position!

Artangeleditor ADMIN July 27, 2009
Hello everyone,

Thanks again for adding so many drawings to this group. As I'm no longer able to check this group quite so regularly, I've changed the moderation settings so that any new additions will need to be cleared before they appear. Flickr will email me as soon as there's something in the queue however and I'll try to approve them as quickly as possible.

Many thanks,

Artangel Web Editor

Group Description

At 12.30pm every day from 6 to 10 July 2009, Channel 4 broadcast Life Class: Today's Nude. Devised by Alan Kane and produced by Artangel, it was a series of five life drawing classes, each presented by a different tutor and featuring a different type of model. If you followed any of the lessons and produced your own drawings, this is where you can share them.

Meanwhile, from Monday 22 June until Saturday 4 July, we organised a series of free drop-in life drawing classes in London, Glasgow, Bristol, Manchester and Southampton - and you can use this group to share your drawings from these events as well.

More information about the project can be found at the Artangel website by following the below link.

Group Rules

1. This group is exclusively for drawings produced while either watching the Channel 4 broadcasts of Life Class: Today's Nude or attending the related drop-in classes. Any other material will be removed.

2. Please limit yourself to one drawing per pose.

3. Tag your images as you see fit, but if your drawing is from the TV programme, please indicate the relevant episode by making sure you include one consisting of the surname of the artist who presented it. So for Maggi Hambling the tag is simply “hambling”. The full list of presenters is John Berger, Judy Purbeck, Maggi Hambling, Gary Hume and Humphrey Ocean - so the tags are berger, purbeck, hambling, hume and ocean.

4. If you're adding a drawing made at a drop-in class, please tag it 'dropin' plus something to indicate where the class was ie 'londongraphiccentre'.

5. Please consider setting the safety level of your images to 'moderate'.
