Welcome all. Please remember to check the rules and guidelines thread for appropriate pics to post here. Generally speaking, avoid pics of figs or customs on their own, builds that include lots of clone brand bricks, and builds that are sci fi beyond what could be considered "near future". One or two pics are enough for most models, but some very intricate ones may merit a few more. Also feel free to discuss all things relevant in the discussions area.
Group Description"Military building is a wonderfully broad genre, and Lego Military Models is focused on certain aspects of it, based on the interests of group staff, and what has worked well in the past. We welcome models of real life vehicles, models of military style franchised designs, as well as vehicles that you've come up with yourself. All scales are welcome. We like vigs and we love dioramas.
This group does not accept pictures of just figs on their own, custom weapons on their own, or works in progress. We work with the modern military era, starting around the beginning of the 20th Century, up through what we'd consider "near future". If your riflemen have red and blue coats instead of some sort of camo, your build may be too old. If your vehicle includes mech style legs or gravity defying hoverpods (or is "space capable"), it is probably too futuristic.
Join our group and share :)
Group RulesLego Military Models is a group for military LEGO builders to gather, share pictures of our finished work, and discuss military building and military stuff in general.
We are here to build, to help each other, and to develop in the fine art of Lego building. Respectful and constructive suggestions for pictures in this group are welcome and appropriate, as well as general raving/praise. All of us, whether veteran builders or newbies, can learn from one another and expand our skills and horizons as builders. If you don't want constructive criticism, you can set your permission settings on a given picture to disallow all comments from others. You can also consider just not adding the picture to the group.
As a general rule, please avoid starting or adding to drama. This can be easier said than done. But it means try to avoid taking things personally that may not have been meant that way, and also avoid deliberately needling one another. Less mockery and more MOCery!
If you have an issue with other group members or with staff member decisions, please send a PM to an Admin.
Build, share, have fun!
