Group Description

Help us show off the very best of Mexican and Mexican American Los Angeles! Our Flickr stream is a living, changing part of our exhibitions -- and your photos become part of the show, exhibited in our galleries.

Show our visitors, from around the corner or around the world the culture, history, and pride of your Los Angeles.

We are currently looking for photos of the following: Mexican Food/Restaurants, L.A. murals, Holidays, Latinos in Sports, the Chicano Moratoriums, and Latinos in Military Service. To be in the exhibition, we ask that you please tag your photos with one of the following:
- Food
- Murals
- Holidays
- Sports
- Moratoriums
- Military

Community voice and community history are the heart of our exhibition, so please upload now (new and old photos are welcome) and share your Mexican and Mexican American Los Angeles!

Group Rules

1)By sharing your photograph with the La Plaza Flickr group, you agree to these Group Rules.
2)Please make sure your published photos are appropriate for a public audience.
3)You must have taken the photos yourself, and own the rights to reproduce or publish them (if you took the photos, you already do!)
4)Make sure to caption your photos; tell us who, what, and where.
