I can't even begin to think how you'll interpret this. I'll be honest, I almost did a "best of three" when I saw this one, but stopped myself at the last moment.

Well, just to get it started, here's one from my first post to this group. It could be titled: "How much sand is there in a hole 3 meters by 3 meters by 1 meter deep? (not counting the tent)"

Wicherd Knetemann 10 years ago
Since it's a hole I would say; no sand at all.

Yes, it's an old joke -- sorry. But it does relate to volume :-)
Anyone want to guess the "Volume" of the water in this future water tower?

wait, wait... um, it's the same amount as the sand in Brooks' hole, right?

It's a tough one, this, and I've been trying to nail it down. Two attempts so far and no result that I really want to post yet. It's either too tight or too angled or too overexposed, but man, this idea of pursuing a subject is addictive.

Ok so I'm not going to spend any more time on this idea (although I need more height and better handwriting), and if I want a serious image for this theme, I'll go aout and do it like anyone else would. I promise.

Who but ol Capn Craig could come up with a KAP way to show a PA system? Brilliant!

Now class ....

Volume

consider a hexagon described by hedges 2 meters thick and 5 meters high. If the inner plan dimension of each side is 10 meters what is the volume of the hedge itself?
Marcus_H 10 years ago
669.282m³ ? (approximately)

I have now "Illegal" 400 meter kite-line of cheap nylon, which however causes so much drag that reaching 400 meters is impossible.

KAP'n Craig stole my punch line, but...

...The train crossing is a few hundred yards from Daniel's parents' house, where we stayed this past week. I'd estimate the whistle about 70-80 dB... but at 3 am it sure feels like 140 dB.

Lenny :: Sorry to have suggested a topic then not posted anything to it. For some reason we've been low on wind here in Minnesota as of late. Trust me, I'm trying and am supportive of your tireless pursuit of KAP inspiration.

Sweet, Timo. Like it.

An Dave, don't worry about the suggestion/no-contributuion situation.

This has been a very difficult theme and it's clearly been relying more on the interpretation than the image itself. I may be considering a slightly biased way of choosing the theme next time. Maybe select three at random and then pick one of those personally. I don't know.

Lenny :: Glad you understand.

Timonoko :: Nice, did that come from the magazine cover builder online?
