Guides lead tours that explore family and servant life in the Gilded Age mansion in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Completed in 1891, the red sandstone residence was the setting of the public and private lives of the family of James J. Hill, builder of the Great Northern Railway.

The home also offers educational programs, neighborhood tours, lectures, concerts, dramatic programs, and art exhibitions for the general public.
