Day 5

Thirsty anyone? Had fun experimenting with my Canon 7D's high speed 8fps capability as part of my Project 366. This was strawberry wine...YUM! I used a studio soft box as the background at full power. Camera on a tripod. My daughter poured the wine while I held the glass and pushed the shutter button. We did this in the bathroom with a large container on the floor that had a bowl in it to catch the wine for pictures retakes. Did about 12 series to get this shot. The wine glass was tilted exactly as shown while shooting. Camera settings:
Manual, f4.5, 1/1000, ISO 400, Auto WB, no flash. Minor WB adjustments in Lightroom.

Day 73: Mt Dew

For this shot I used a Canon 7D on 10 sec. timer mounted on a tripod. Backlit with a 580 EXll at 1/4 power in a softbox mounted on a light stand. A 430 EXll was fired at 1/4 power from above the glass slightly front. Some minor Light Room 4 adjustments were made in white balance, clarify, contrast. Camera settings: 1/400, f8, ISO 100, AWB.

Dinner for 3?

Tried to capture an ambiance of romance and festivity all at once! Shot with a Nikon D90, Nikon 35mm 1.8, and natural light.

BUDA

Shot in my favorite bar with my Nikon D90, Sigma 10-20mm, and some help from Elements. The purpose of this photo was to show comfort, space and intimacy with a certain style and flair.
