I am looking for abandoned buildings in or near Indy and also an old 1950ish ford truck (I want it to be pretty beat up looking). Any suggestions? Or know someone I can contact?

Take a look at Kentucky avenue just outside of downtown and along Massachusetts avenue outside of downtown along the railroad tracks. You could also go to the old Central State facility on the west side of Indianapolis for some spooky old buildings.

As for the truck, maybe a junkyard would have one laying around? HTH.

Thanks! That does help. What do you think about shooting in one of those buildings(are they easy to get into)? How much trouble would I get into for going into one?

Some of the buildings are easy to get into...trust me on this. I have some pictures in my stream that I took of the power plant building a couple of years ago with my p&s camera. I have since gone back with a better camera and have better results, just not posted yet. The site does have no trespassing signs posted everywhere and the police do patrol the area. That being said, a lot of pictures have been posted on Flickr that were taken inside of the old buildings. If you go, bring a flashlight, be careful and have fun.
