I'm interested to hear from the group about subjects you would like to see in future group assignments. We always try to strike the right balance between making them challenging yet accessible to the different experience levels in the group, but there's always room for improvement.

If you have any ideas or suggestions you would like to share please post them here.

Thanks!

I feel we all love the bugs, flowers, etc, etc, assignments but what about like an eye(s), "your favorite of the week", tones such as bold, bright, actions like moving, riding, intentional out of focus, growing/growth, red, white & blue, oh my head is a spinning cuz I can think of sooo many more if you want. :)

Good list Lisa!

How about self interpretive phrases? For example "Patriotic" or “Dog tired” or “3 little words” - everyone can interpret the phrase differently and snap their version of the word/phrase.

Some people may see patriotic as a flag or red white blue or a soldier. Or Dog tired could be a dog who's tired or someone who's worked a 24 hour shift straight and 3 little words could be "I love you" or "Three Way Stop" etc. etc.

How about identifying a picture through the cameras eye. Knowing when to shoot and removing unwanted items in a shot before you click the shutter button
With my computer being down but I'm just getting back up (YEAH), it's given me lots of time to think about shooting so I have some more ideas: weeds, construction, fence, post/column, arch, sand/beach, stairs/steps, eye(s), through the glass, bird, corner, rearview mirror, backwards, upside down, tshirts, smile/smily face, bench, rock, table, food, rain/puddle, umbrella, school mascot/colors/icon.

I'll keep my list going but wanted to give you some more of my ideas. :)
