I have taken a couple courses with IPC and am really starting to build up my confidence and am thinking about trying to make a few bucks with my camera. I have done several senior photo's and a couple engagement sessions. I have an engagement session coming up and 2 maternity shoots... the only problem is I'm running out of ideas of places to take people... sooo... Give me your suggestions.... where do you love to take clients for outdoor photo shoots??

Holliday Park is perfect for families or engagement session. My friend just did a sunrise shoot there and it turned out lovely! Good luck. I love to drive around and scope out original places off the beaten path. Just look for textures and you'll be golden!

Kate! take your kids and your husband to the Lilly gardens. Bring a blanket and some food and of all bring ALL YOUR CAMERA GEAR. especially a tripod. You may want to bring bikes with you as well. Much to shoot and places to shoot your family as well..38th & michigan rd next to the indianapolis museum
Ps also if you get a chance my favorite class was the lighting course.
A must if i may say so myself...

Downtown areas of little towns are really cute. You can usually find cool buildings and textures there. Try downtown Greenwood or Franklin to start. Also, for cool senior pics, there is a building off Madison and Terrace Ave behind the BMV with tons of grafitti all over it. Check out the modeling pics on my website to see some pics I did there! www.kristinhausphotography.com
