We're developing a roster of organizers, photographers, people in need, etc. for this incredible event on Dec. 12.

If you will be participating, let us know where! If you're interested in participating, let us know too!

I love the concept (and the video on the IPC website - props to whoever did it). I will be unavailable this year.

Oh my gosh, the video is amazing, it gave me the chills and put tears in my eyes! I would love to do this, however, I have a prior commitment on this date, but I am going to do this for my neighbor...they have 5 adorable kids, so well-behaved and so bright. Their parents work so hard to support their family. They are always helping out their extended family when they need a place to stay. My husband and I will have gotten home late at night to find that they've shoveled our driveway, that they've retrieved our trash cans on collection day, that they've raked leaves, all without expecting anything in return. This is the least I can do to say thank you. So glad IPC is doing this!

The best part about this whole initiative is that even if you can't make it that Saturday, it's ok. Don't let a one-day event stop you from doing this year-round! :) I'm sure that any nursing home, veterans assoc, homeless shelter, etc. would allow you to come in and do this any time.

Maybe we'll do this again as a social shoot next year :)
I had this idea in my head about offering this (in a way) to underpriviledged high school kids for their senior pictures. Talking to the high school guidance counselors and see who would be eligible. Just a thought!

Lisa - I love that idea!! I remember how expensive nice senior portraits were when I was in school - I can imagine the inflation. Plus high school kids will do just about anything so it makes it interesting :o)

THAT WAS SO REWARDING!!!!! A special thank you to my sister Raegan (our secretary), Lindsay (photographer), Serge (photographer), and Shelby (photographer).
We were able to shoot 8 families today.
We can't wait to edit our photos, print them, frame them and deliver!
We will certainly be doing this again next year!
Merry Christmas IPC !!!
