advantages of this camera?

I have been debating this camera purchase just wondering what advantage this has over other pinhole cameras? Theres the Harman pinhole the Zero image the Leonardo etc. I see so far the price is an advantage as well as not having to hunt down overpriced film holders anything else?

I love mine. However, loading/unloading is a pain due to the fact that you have to have a lot of room in your changing bag to open the two halves. So make sure you have a large changing bag or tent to bring with you on shoots.

It takes outstandingly sharp images on any media I've used in it including 35mm clips, medium format clips, 4x5 films and 4x5 paper. It also does Instant films well by simply placing the filmpack inside of the camera body or holding it against the back (and protecting the gaps with something like your changing bag.

I've got 2 other pinhole cameras, both that hold 35mm and medium format (respectively) and I prefer the look and feel of this one over both of those, even with the pain of changing out paper or film for each shot.

Also have a look at the review on Filmwasters filmwasters.com/podcast/archives/262 In the end it comes down to personal choice. The disadvantages are that it is one shot, where as the Harman Titan is far easier to reload if you have double darkslides, but on the pus side. It's lightweight, durable and still produces some really stunning images. Please let us knwo how you go on

Even carrying the camera, dark bag, box of film and a box for used film, you have a pretty lightweight set up to carry around. I had no problem changing film in the bag, sat on a convenient rock. Although my family do think I look a little dodgy fumbling around with the bag on my lap.

I finally ended up with an Obscura I love it but don't trust the light wheel thingy because of underxposure. I use my Ipod touch with a very reliable meter app alongside an exposure chart from mr. pinhole
