I am looking in to the possibility of hosting a talk by renowned landscape photographer Colin Prior to assist Cancer Support Scotland in their fundraising efforts. This would be held at the Calman Centre, in west Glasgow (date TBC) and I am trying to gauge what the interest would be. Tickets would cost £5 and tea/coffee would be available. If you are interested please email me ( and I will keep you informed if the evening goes ahead. More information about the charity can be found below. Thank you for your help!
Cancer Support Scotland provides emotional and practical support - on a one-to-one basis and through community based groups - to anyone affected by cancer including family, friends and carers. Our support includes complementary therapy sessions such as massage, reiki and reflexology, and talking therapy sessions. We help people affected by cancer relax, regain some control over their life and give them the time and space away from their treatment to forget their anxieties. We provide our services from our base in the award-winning Calman Centre, in the grounds of Gartnavel Hospital, as well as in 10 libraries throughout Glasgow in partnership with Macmillan and GlasgowLife.

I would go to something like this, but unfortunately I live 200 miles away.
