Does anyone know where to get an (affordable) center filter for the Xpan 45/90 lenses? Im in the US and can only seem to find them sold overseas on ebay for 200lbs+ (im being silly about lbs for pounds haha yanks are silly)

Yeah, good luck. I gave up a long time ago. My XPan II (45mm) didn't come with the centre filter, so I had a saved search set on eBay, but they often go on the eBay for £150+ which is utterly lame.

I think there's one (or two) on fleabay UK going for around the £130-£150 mark (which is what I'd expect to pay for a good genuine one).

I got mine from BH photo video. Think it cost around the US$200.
i've always left it on camera, so unsure what my shots would be like without it.

If you are still looking, BH Photo has one for sale in their used department.

I think you do for slide film, but for B&W and Colour - Nah..

I agree.
yes for chromes, not necessary for negatives with 45mm.
The good news is that you do not need one at all for the 90mm.
