Group DescriptionThose of us who are part of Hartwick College know just how amazing this place is. But we also want people who don’t have the benefit of being here to see what our school is all about. So we’re re-creating many of our existing communications to do just that.
We want to tell the Hartwick story, and we want it to be real—which is where you come in.
No one knows Hartwick like you do. This is your school, your life, your experience. So we’re asking you to share it, through your eyes.
Send us your photos.
Which photos? Anything you’ve shot during your time here. The campus, town, dorms, dining halls, classrooms, projects, professors. Your internships, J Term, and study-abroad experiences. But don’t stop there. Send us everything. The pictures of you and your friends just hanging out. What you did over spring break and summer vacation. Parties, hikes, Greek week, pep rallies. Don’t edit. Some of the best, most genuine shots are the outtakes. We want those, too.
1. Sign up for a flickr.com account if you don’t already have one.
2. Post your favorite photos to your flickr account (up to 200 for free). Remember, they don’t have to be works of art, just real.
3. Find our flickr group (called HartwickCollege) and join.
4. Post your images to our group with the Send to Group option.
5. Take a look at the photos from other students and see their Hartwick experience.
Just be sure to use your best judgment in the pictures you share. After all, these pictures will add up to a true portrait of Hartwick—the people, places, and moments that make it so special.
Finally, the photos you upload may be used, without attribution, in upcoming electronic and print publications, including our new academic viewbook, which will be mailed to prospective students. By agreeing to the terms and conditions on the site, you are giving permission for hartwick to use the photo in its entirety, including all people in the photo. If you don't feel comfortable submitting the photo for any reason, please do not submit
Thanks for helping us show off our wonderful school.
