Drag to set position!

Joey's Dream Garden ADMIN May 28, 2011
Hi there!
Please share your own scans/photos of your old copies of the vintage partworks, "Golden Hands" or "Golden Hands Encyclopedia of Crafts". If you don't have your own copies though, I hope you'll enjoy looking at the pictures and projects and take inspiration from them.

If you make anything which has been inspired by anything in the group, please also feel free to post photos of your own work here! It would be great to see the projects brought "back to life".

Best wishes

Group Description

This is a place to share your own scans or photos from your Golden Hands or Golden Hands Encyclopedia of Crafts partwork magazines. These magazines were published in the 1970s and you can find old copies on eBay, charity shops, car boot sales etc, but it's difficult.

I think that everyone should have access to these great old magazines because there's such a lot to learn from them. So please feel free to post any pictures or full projects from them, so people can use them as inspiration for their own handmade crafts.

Also, if you actually make something from the instructions or patterns here, or if you're inspired by something you see in the group, please post here. It would be really great to see some "new vintage" creations!

Please only post pictures from these publications, or any that are related to them (the publisher should be Marshall Cavendish), and photos of items which you've made yourself using projects or patterns posted here. Any pictures which obviously aren't from, or anything to do with, Golden Hands or related magazines will be removed.

Group Rules

By joining this group, you agree that:

- you will only post photos or scans that you have taken yourself, of the magazine partworks called Golden Hands or Golden Hands Encyclopedia of Crafts, both published by Marshall Cavendish in the 1970s.

- you will not post any other photos unless they relate closely to the publications, for example if you make items using the instructions/projects posted here.

- if you do post anything not allowed, it will be removed.
