Here we are with a new version !
Nice one, I must say :)

Here is the Changelog :

New features:

- New plug-in filter 'Film emulation / Add grain', to add non-synthetic grain to your images.

- New command '-syntexturize' and associated plug-in filter 'Patterns / Resynthetize texture' which uses phase randomization to synthetize micro textures with arbitrary sizes.

- New command '-fractalize' and associated plug-in filter 'Artistic/Fractalize' which tries to deform Mandelbrot fractals to look like your input image. Able to render things like this :

- New command '-img2ascii' and associated plug-in filter 'Arrays & tiles/Ascii art', which renders ascii art from input images. Able to do things like this :

- New command '-periodize_poisson' and corresponding plug-in filter 'Patterns / Make seamless' that periodizes selected images using a Poisson solver in the Fourier space.

- New command '-x_2048' (CLI interface only) that launches a G'MIC version of the famous '2048' game :

Bug fixes :

- Command '-minimal_path' is now more robust to strange input metric maps.
- Command '-text' : fixed small bug to improve its use in parallel threads.

Improvements / Modifications :

- Modified substitution @{-1,t} : the result is always returned as a string, so special characters are kept quoted.
- Disabled sharing of global variables between parallel threads. This may have undesired side effects.
- Number of available filters displayed in the GIMP plug-in does not take 'Testing/' filters into account anymore.
- Modified how the biggest font data are defined in source file, to bypass MS Visual compiler limitation concerning the declaration of long strings (>65Kb).
- Command '-uncommand' can now takes more than one argument.
- Command '-command' now accepts .cimg[z] files as inputs. Those files must contains the ascii codes of the corresponding command definitions. As a result, the filter updates should be faster to download, as they are now passed in a compressed version.

Hi, David,

please consider this:

OPT_CFLAGS = -O3 -fno-ipa-sra -mtune=generic
instead of
OPT_CFLAGS = -O3 -mtune=generic

regarding the Makefile. If not all Ubuntu Precise builds will fail due to the g++ under Precise.

Thanks
