Group Description

Hi there, this group is for anyone with an interest in Girl Guides and/or Girl Scouts, anywhere in the world. You do not have to be a current member of Guiding or Scouting to join, but ideally it would be best if any photos that you upload to this group are Girl Guide or Scout themed in nature. Photos do not have to be of girls/members in their uniforms, but they should have something to do with Girl Guiding/Scouting.

Some ideas for photos are:

-Trips to any one of the four World Centres (Centers), or National Headquarters in any country

-Unit/troop/pack/etc meetings and get-togethers

-Bridging/Flying Up ceremonies

-Thinking Day celebrations

-WAGGGS related topics

-Community projects

-Parades in which GG/GS participated

-Badge sashes

-Campfire (camp) blankets

-Items of Girl Guide/Girl Scout memorabilia

And anything else that is of a non-commercial, PG (this group is strictly PG!) nature that pertains to the wonderful world of Guiding and Scouting!

Group Rules

Hi, and thanks for your interest in the Girl Guides and Girl Scouts on Flickr group. Our rules are really simple and reflect the Guiding/Scouting spirit.

-Be kind to fellow members and respect their rights. If you have any issues with a member or with this group, please contact a moderator.

-Insure that your photos meet and respect Flickr's community Guidelines.

-Please only post photos that pertain to the subject of Girl Guides or Girl Scouts in some way. This description gives you a lot of wiggle room to post photos of anything that is child-friendly (aka, PG safe) and GG/GS related, from campfire marshmallow roasts to your childhood Guide uniform.

-Note that this group is moderated and is meant to be a friendly, safe and inviting place for all members.

-Have fun and enjoy your time here!
