Farewell Rufus

Had to have my beautiful ginger lad pts yesterday. There is no doubt it was the right thing, at the right time, but gosh does he leave a huge hole in my life. I have Max & Minnie, Oriental blacks, but the house does feel so, so empty.

I made a set of most of my photos of him, starting just after I got him from a rescue;

So sorry to hear about Rufus. I really feel for you and know how desolate things must be for you right now. They leave such a huge gap when we lose them - which is testament to how much they mean to us. You have a wonderful set of photos to remember him by (though you really dont need them). He will live on in your heart and, hopefully, one day you will be able to smile when you remember him.

How very sad you must be feeling to lose such a precious companion as Rufus, your one consolation is your wonderful memories you have of him.x

He's back home now, in a beautiful Wemyss ware jam pot decorated with oranges, to match his fur. Thanks for all your kind thoughts.

He was my first ginger cat, I'm sure he won't be my last.
