Maggggie February 13, 2015
The Great Backyard Bird Count begins today Friday, February 13. Four days, through the 16th, people all over the world will be spotting, counting, photographing birds. Small birds, huge birds, and all kinds of birds in trees, on the ground, in the air. Join in the fun and post photos here. Open to photos NOW, Friday, Feb 13. Adding: feel free to post photos of any wild animals you see while you are out, such as deer, raccoon, beaver, etc., in addition to birds.

Group Description

This year's Great Backyard Bird Count through Cornell University. This is an annual, international four-day bird count I enjoy each year. This year's dates are Feb 13, 14, 15, and 16.

This group will be opened for members as of now, and photos as of Feb 13 and through a couple of weeks following, closing Feb 28, to give everyone a chance to add their photos from the count.

Please post photos of live wild birds, no people unless they are birdwatchers, too. Photos need to have been taken on the four days mentioned. I encourage you to participate in the bird count, but this is not a requirement to join this group.

Group Rules
