Forthcoming Weekends: now being discussed via the Futility Yahoo! Group. All members should have had an invite, if not let us know through a new topic in here so we can get the right e-mail address invited.
2012
Nothing planned yet... we should probably work on that.

This group pool is for members only.

This group discussion is for members only.

Group Description

In 2005 a crack commando unit escaped from a maximum security asylum (next to a Jessops) and fled to the UK photography underground. Today they survive as amateur photographers of fortune. If you need a photo and no-one else can help you... maybe you can hire "The F-Team". dakka dakka dakka

We ~must~ waste the spirituality of any occasion on the futility of photography.

Now for the boring but necessary stuff:-

What's it for? For people going away on the Futility weekends. A kind of FlickrMeet+. But most importantly - it's meant to be FUN.
Who's it for? As it's a social thing, the people who get invited need to be known by at least two of us. As groups can lose focus the bigger they get, member numbers will be kept below 20.
How do I get a picture in the pool? By the picture being nominated by another member through one of the threaded topics.
What's a Futility weekend? A short holiday where the focus is to waste as much time as possible on the futility of photography! Organisation of these weekends is a shared thing; everyone needs to chip in, either before (by organising one) or during (e.g. by bringing equipment, sorting or preparing food, driving, cleaning up, etc).

Please read the threads to get an idea of what it's about once you've joined. Everything's set to 'members only' because some of it is very personal to the members.
