Hello to all Administrators and Moderators!

It's time to choose "Photo of the Month - February 2010."

Rules:

1. All the admins and moderators will pick 2 photos, #1 and #2 choice, from the "Photo of the Day" choices for February. Please post your choices as soon as possible, and feel free to explain why you chose these photos.

2. We give each #1 choice 2 points, each #2 choice 1 point. The photo with the most points is the Photo of the Month.

3. Winners will be announced with "Tony's special choice" together and posted on the front page!

Cheers,

The image I'd like to highlight this month is this wonderful abstract image from Esteban Toré:

Nature Geometry

Symmetry and simplicity. In fact, the image appears deceptively simple to create, but we all know how difficult it is to get close to one of these tube worms without it retracting into its protective tube.

The lighting is fantastic...with the details of the "feathers" clearly visible.

This image does an excellent job of reminding me that there is beauty in every little aspect of the reef, if we look closely enough to notice.

Thank you Esteban!
