You can get bokeh with every camera and lens. Here are a couple of things to look for:
- Get as close to your subject as possible (and the camera/lens allows) - Have as much distance between subject and background as possible - Sensor size: the bigger the better (less dof) - Use a long lens (wide angles produce less bokeh compared to tele lenses). - use the widest aperture the lens offers.
With your camera, you will have to resort to 1, 2 and 3.
Since you're using 35mm film, you got less dof than most DSLR or compact camera users.
