Group Description

Our official Properties & Days Out Flickr group.

We've set this group up so that visitors to English Heritage sites can send us their photos and show the world. Your photos will be streamed live on the English Heritage website, linking back to Flickr.

If you've had a great day out, then show us! Submit your photos taken at any English Heritage property!

Whether it's a photo of the landscape, the architecture or of you having fun and enjoying the place, this is the place to add them.

This group has been created by the New Media Team at English Heritage and we will moderate the content; it is one of our official Flickr groups for the organisation, to see what other offical groups we have please visit our parent page

Please read the group rules before posting your photos, the rules give English Heritage permission to display your photos on our website.

The photos that you have taken may also be displayed in galleries on the English Heritage website.

Group Rules

Hello, welcome to our English Heritage Days Out Flickr Group.

Photos added to this pool must be of days out at our sites otherwise we’ll remove them.

When you join this group (as with joining any Flickr group) you're agreeing to allow English Heritage to display your photos on our website, using Flickr's gallery/badge tool which allows any website owner to create a gallery using public images from Flickr. This displays a small thumbnail of the image, within the gallery, which links through to the photo on Flickr.

You can see an example of this here in the right hand column:

When you upload your photos to Flickr you're always agreeing to allow this unless you change your default privacy and sharing settings. We're using our group rules to raise awareness of this, in case you see your photo on our website at a later date and are surprised by it.

Most people are happy for us to share their photos in this way and allow a wider audience to enjoy them. You remain the copyright owner of your photos.

By agreeing to these rules you're confirming the following:

- any photo posted on the group is your own original work
- you own copyright
- you're entitled to make it available as set out above and
- its use will not give rise to any third party claims or breach any UK laws.

Many thanks for reading these rules and welcome to our group
