Early beta of DPHDR 4

Mike Hardisty - It's Time To Say Goodbye says:

Oscar has posted alink to an early beta of DPHDR 4. According to Oscar it loads into a separate directory so you can still run DPHDR 3.44

Here's what's going to be in the new version

- Post Editor - you can choose Process & Edit and it will open processed image in a Post Editor for all the common basic image touch up and tons of effects (also support adobe plug-ins). The Post editor runs in separate thread, so you can both process new image and edit previous image at the same time. You can leave it open and it will then catch all incoming DPHDR tonemapped images.
- the Post Editor during save will copy Exif data from original file and create new EXIF Thumbnail
- to switch between post editor and normal save look for the arrow next to the Process & Edit button
- Live Preview (speed up of the preview) - now you see realtime image feedback when moving sliders (can be switched off with the red LIVE button)
- Dynamic light slider is now divided into two halves, one for very fine precise movement (slider) and a rough setup (bars). This way it is possible to set the image feel in very precise details also with realtime preview.
- The Quick browser now shows also RAW files
- Some small things here and there

There is an option to Process and Edit or Process and Save
If you select Process and Edit then you save from the Photobee window.

Also of note if your using 4.01 then you need to upgrade to the new stable version 4.10

Is there a plan to issue a 64-bit version?

I use veersion 3.44 with my 64 bit Vista Ultimate. The machine is a new 4 core CPU. Performance is blazing but some functions seem to be problematic.

I concur with so many others......version 4.3 is well worth the $25.00 charge to upgrade.

I, too, agree that the $25 upgrade is a really good deal. I accepted that offer yesterday, as I didn't know how long it will be available at that price.

From what I've seen of V4.31 so far, it's outstanding! I printed out the instruction manual and am still working my way through the new features.

DP-HDR was my first HDR program, and I've never been tempted to switch to their competitors. They offer so much for such a great price.
