Hi,

How may I save the image I see in the single tone mapping window into jpg ? (without going into the "step 2" which leads to different treatements)

Hi,
I don't think you can do that, saving to jpg from an hdr file (if that is what you are trying to do), the hdr file has to much info, more than can be displayed on screen. The way I understand it is that you must use tone mapping to create a jpg.

I would try to use 'Photographic' or 'Human eye' treatment to get a result that is very close to what the single tone mapping window preview displays...

Thanks for your answer. I understand there are much more information in the HDR file and the operation is not straight away.

I agree with you that 'Photographic' or 'Human eye' should give something close but I never succeeded in obtaining the same thing.
Would it be a recipe, via a configuration file or a setting?

It is especially a pity since the view given by the "single tone mapping" is often what you would like to see when you try to recover a burnt-sky picture via a single RAW/jpeg.

Best,
Sylvain
