I bought the full version, its fast and fun. Just gotta practice. Worth the buy, and I like it better than photomatrix.

im going back and forth right now...seems photomatix and DPHDR are better at certain thingS..at least for me. DPHDR seems better at landscapes and Photomatix is better for pics of people and animals. but thats pretty much a total noob talking so YMMV.

edit...ok so one thing ive found that i dont like...i got a pic that i tone mapped so i really liked what i saw in the preview. well, ive been trying to get the final product to match the preview for at least 10 tries now and im not having any luck what so ever. this may be the only thing that keeps me from buying this over photomatix

Personally I found the preview to be a lot more accurate in in dphdr than phottomatix.

usually i agree with that statement...mine above seems to be limited to when i use the ' smooth compressor ' setting. that setting just cannot get even close unless its me doing something wrong. every other setting is pretty much spot on.

HI I thought I better say hello before I join your discussion I'm Geoff. I agree with Antknee I still use both because they can each do certain things better in ther own right. but I also get his problem of not getting the same result as the preview but I get it in photomatix . I get the look I want then the result is different . not all the time . it may be me.
