As per a discussion at our last meeting, we thought it would be an interesting thing to take a single RAW file (or also JPG sooc for those without RAW workflow) and see how we all do our post processing. Take the file and process it however you would like.
Unfortunately, the RAW file does not load, nor give you an option to download (as would a PDF file) -- at least on my system. So I am open to options for getting this to others if you have suggestions. If you want to try the "link," just change the .jpg to .NEF and give it a whirl.
You can at least e-mail me and I can attach the RAW file to a note -- all 14MB of it. Send me a note at brian(at)hbrstudios(you know what)com
Rules of this challenge: To the next meeting, bring either a print of no longer than 8 inches on the short side, or an image file 1024 pixels on the longest side to be compared to one another. Once the challenge is over, kindly delete all copies of the image from your computers.
Thanx for the reminder -- see above for the new link to the .zip folder.

My feeble attempt at photo shopping this image: I know it is way over saturated but it took me a half hour and I had to set about 50 different control points throughout the photo to get the colors to stand out, so I'm not about to push the colors back in:)
To edit I used NX2 and did a couple of things to it in LR2.
BTW: I hope it's ok to post this photo here, I will delete it after the meet.
