I've been doing so much photo work for others that I have forgotten to take time to do something fun (photography wise)! Anyone have any fun ideas they may want to get together and do? Maybe get a model from the cities and make a day of shooting them in different places in and around duluth? Maybe something abstract and challenging? Maybe sunrise/sunset/landscape road trip for a day?
Give me some ideas if you're willing, I am pretty much open for anything. You can flickr mail me or respond here.

In -- How 'bout taking a product and creating an advertising image. Or architechture interiors. Maybe a concept shot (like one I saw recently having a Playstation murdering a chess piece.)

Too boring?

Dude. Totally In. But I'm booked solid the next six weekends.... soo..... let me know if it happens on a weekday?

Awesome justin! Did it work out for you?
Brian, all of those are great ideas. I have never really tried architecture interiors before and I may not have ever thought of it. Are you suggesting we get together and do these or just giving me ideas as to what to do? When I first read it I though you said a playstation murdering a cheese piece ha.
Sarah, will do.

Well this week is hard for me, next week sound good? Maybe Thursday? I would like to try the product shooting. That would be a challenge and could be a group effort and learning experience.

If we do product photography, my garage will be available.

I have black plexi, black seamless, yellow seamless and white seamless, 1 studio light, 3 speedlights, 2 medium softbox, 1 huge diffusion panel, couple booms, etc...

Of course we could work more efficiently if someone else brought a couple more studio strobes and cybersyncs.

Ohhh, I, too, would like to come out and play. If we are doing product photos, I can bring my white lightnings (new word is new) and cybersyncs.
I'd still like to re-schedule the day trip up to the mouth of the Brule. Might be a good thing to do with the fall colors in a few weeks.

mouth of the brule eh? DPG tubing trip? :)
That could be fun. Although, probably not with cameras. ;-)

How's that baby of yours?

I read recently of a group in VT who's goal is to visit every town/city in the State (something like 250). Doing every town/city in MN would be ridiculous, but St. Louis Co. has ~199 cities/towns/Unincorps. Might be fun to road trip once a month or so and take photos of each.

I could be interested depending on day/ time. I haven't shot with a plan in a while.

I thought the pavement ended where my driveway begins? Lol! How far from Duluth are ya? Never heard of Togo. I s'pose I could find it on a map somewhere in the internet, but what fun would that be? :)

2.5 hour drive, up 53 turn Left on Highway 1 (past Cook a couple of miles) follow Highway 1 to Highway 65 (about 23 miles). Turn Right on Highway 65 go 1 mile you'll see the sign, trust me you'll see the sign.

Were busy all weekend with weddings and seniors though :?(
