All Those Crazy Jpeg Options!

enchanted afternoon [deleted] says:

I've never known which to use when saving my JPEG files...Standard, Optimized, or Progressive. Hence, I finally researched and came to the conclusion that I'll be saving them in Optimized instead of Standard. I have to admit, however, that I don't see any difference what-so-ever.

I've also come to the conclusion to simply stay away from Progressive. That's a nice option if you're dealing with people who have 56k modems.

Also...for those of you in the web creation side of things...PNG's are sweet! You can have awesome drop shadows that a transparent. :-D

Huh, I might start doing Optimized too. I think I was using "standard" all this time because that is what WHCC said to submit photos as for their printing. So I assumed that was the best choice.
