A bit of a feel-good story, but it's destined to spiral further into a political debate.... have a good one, ya'll!

ha! hardly a hero. more of a documentarian of heroics.

i tried to do a promo for the guild (and my show), but they were set on "no promotion whatsoever", which i can respect.

THAT GOOSE WAS FROZEN BECAUSE OF HEALTH CARE REFORM.

I'm not sure how this spirals into a political debate.

thanks, guys! as far as the political debate goes, Jason, i got a few emails from the article (i'm a state employee (aka.. self-serving bureaucrat) in the Department of Employment and Economic Development in the Duluth office), and it doesn't take long for the Duluth News Tribune's online comment section to spiral into a political debate.... and that's probably an understatement, despite the best efforts of the moderators who have to deal with reactionary wackos on a daily basis. ha.

but, yeah, it's all a conspiracy to spend more money on survival suits, firetrucks, and upgrades to goose tagging progams.... (THIS IS A JOKE SO NO QUOTING!) which will distract from the health care reform debate, so we can spend more money on that. ha!

And a super-smart, even-handed, well-researched one at that!

Oh, DNT. How I'll miss you.

Not many can follow Jason's train of thought. :)

But, and correct me if I am wrong, he means that the posts people make on the DNT website forum are less than informed, but Sam Cook does a great job writing for them.

ooooooh.... well, if that's the case, then i think we're all in agreement here. i've never had a problem with the folks at the DNT at all. all of my dealings with them have been quite cool. thanks for the clarification, Brian. good stuff. you're a class act.
