Ok Team. I seek your help on gadgetry.

Im looking for some sort of mobile card dumper thing that would take out the need for a laptop and allow me to dump cards straight to a mobile hd (like a WD Passport). I have one that works for an ipod, but it's quite scetchy and doesnt say if the data is there or not.

Any suggestions?

Apparently, Wolverine does not sell my model any more. They either have a cheaper one without the ability to actually see the image files or their more pricey one at $279.

I bought a netbook laptop for around $260 and it has a 160gb hard drive and a 10" screen. absolutely perfect for onsite photo dumps. the only downfall is that its not as portable.

you could even load light room on it and do some quick edits if you felt ambitious.

i can get about 8 hours or so...depending on the brightness of the screen. i would say 8 hours is the average. its a 6 cell battery on a 10" screen.

kinda purdy
