I'm looking for an entry level, cheap, cheap, cheap DSLR body, battery cables, etc. I want it just to photograph Rachel's artwork and eBay stuff.
-- I don't need or want any lenses. -- It must be a model that has a proper stop-down mode so I can mount screw mount lenses with an adapter. -- I don't care if it's made by Canon, Nikon, Sony, Pentax or your mother. -- It can (and should) be several generations old.
If anyone has such a creature or knows someone who has such a creature, drop me a message and let me know what you want for it.
My max budget is "cheap as possible". That $200 region that Brian mentioned sounds mighty fine.
I suspect that I will ultimately be visiting the eBay, but I thought I would toss some cash at someone in the group if they had one to sell.
What are the models I want to look at in Canon, Pentax, etc? Literally, the only "features" I care about are stop-down mode and the existence of an adapter for screw-mount lenses. Well, RAW mode, but what DSLR doesn't have that?
