So its NOT a full frame correct?
admin
Correct. It is Named in the #d series because it is considered by canon to be a Pro Crop body.

Didn't you know that the brewhouse opened a Camera section? They thought it'd be a good idea since 78% of photographers in duluth go there on a regular basis already. No joke.

lol, the only that thing that could deter me away from a 7D is the Frakencamera, but that'll probably take a bit too long for me to get to market.

Woo Hoo!

By the way, No, I did not order one being a Nikon guy! :)

I'm debating it, Karl. I really want the 5D Mark II, but I haven't been able to justify spending that much money for a camera yet. The 7D might be a good compromise for me, even though I'd love to be able to go full frame.

I saw you post the other day that you fell in love with your 7d. What exactly made you fall in love with it?

Part of it is that you can zoom in 5x or 10x using live view to get precise focusing which was really nice for this shot

Silicon Chip

Also I was able to change the power output of my 430ex wirelessly through the 7D menu which was nice to be able to do.
