Saturday morning set up 8am: We have to be completely ready to go by 9:30am. If everyone can make it (except Amanda) that would be great.

Saturday booth coverage: When can you be there?
Natalie- all day
Nate- afternoon- tear down
Crystal- morning
Kenji- setup - tear down (i'm available anytime on Saturday)
Brian - 8:00 to 12:00 and 2:00 - 5:30 (take down)

Saturday night tear down 5pm: We need to remove all our stuff from the booth for security purposes. Who ever stores it over night obviously will need to be able to come back Sunday morning.

Kenji - I can take all stuff to my house on Saturday night unless someone wants to do so.

Sunday morning set up 9am: Put photos back in booth.

Sunday booth coverage: When can you be there?
Kenji - Setup - noon
Natalie- 3:30pm- tear down
Nate- afternoon- tear down
Brian - 9:00 - 1:00 and pick up & booth dismantle at 5:00

any sizes in between those um, just come up with something that works within this breakdown.

The official bag/backing price list from Brian:

(Size: bag price + backing price = total)

11x14: 0.15 + 0.50 = $0.65
11x17: 0.17 + 0.80 = $0.97
16x20: 0.20 + 1.00 = $1.20
18x24: 0.40 + 1.30 = $1.70

I have a total of this many backings left (and I can put in an order for more, but time is getting short):

11x14 = 12
11x17 = 18
16x20 = 28
18x24 = 23

Ok, so, good news: greeting card rack is here. Bad news: Its a pos, that came damaged and missing parts.

I think I can have it in usable condition. Stay away from Displays To Go.com

Im going to kind of freestyle it on the walls. I just cant come up with a decent design that will be portable, easy to set up and take down, and stretch 10x10. It'll be good, whatever it is. It will also arrive as a pile of numbered and color coded lumber, some assembly required : )

The sign is done, and 2 of the 3 stands are done.

I discovered a 4' mop handle will complete the card rack, haha.

Oh, and I finally ordered my prints : )

Ok, so:

When are we supposed to be there Friday night?

What exactly are we setting up besides tent and walls Friday?

Was there any word of security overnight?

I will be there for set up on both days.

Registration starts at 5pm Friday -- that would be my suggestion to start setting stuff up. I would not put out artwork until Saturday am.

The info sheets sent say that there will be paid security, but they still don't recommend leaving it out overnight -- I will be boxing mine up and taking it home.

It is looking like rain on Saturday, sorry.
If it would be of any help I have a nice empty/clean van that I’m offering for the artists to use. At Saturday closing I could come and pick up artwork etc. and store it in a locked garage overnight then return it in the morning, I also have a lot of clean packing blankets that could be used to keep stuff from knocking around. [I put a photo of the inside of the van in my photostream]

If a responsible person such as Brian wanted to take the van that would also be ok.

My only condition to this proposition is: it’s free.

Oo la la, Brian does love vans. I think it would be a great idea.

I guess I didn't read the memo on sizes/prices, most of my larger pieces are 12x18...oopsy

I may be a little concerned about leaving the tent overnight if it's supposed to thunderstorm. Thoughts on this?

Kenji has offered to take everyone's work home with him Saturday night and bring it back Sunday morning.

Nate- lets see how the weather is tomorrow evening and if you want to take down the tent, i'll help you with that.

It went, we had all weather except snow (and we were places at the end of a minor side road, so sales were real slow.)

Hey!!!! Kenji, Brian, Amanda, & Nate.

My aunt is the activites coordinate for Lakeshore Lutheran home in Lakeside. i guess every summer the Lakeside neighborhoods have like a 'lakeside days' celebration or something and Lakeshore hosts a bunch of art vendors on their property.

Want to set up a booth? There's no fees. it's August 12th from 4pm-?

that's really all i know right now, my aunt is mailing me out more details and the contract. She said that usually each year she has about 20 vendors set up for this.

i thought it would be a chance for us to try and sell some of our leftovers from park point. : )

Nate, Brian, Kenji, & Amanda- the Lakeshore event is this Wed. from 4pm-8pm. I plan to be there to set up at 3pm.

Nate- are you still free to come then and help me set up?

Everyone- i have no problem being at the booth by myself if no one else wants to stay. Just drop off your stuff shortly before 4pm and be back to pick it up at 8pm.

if you have framed work, you'll need to provide an easel to place it on, we're not setting up the full frame that we had at park point.

I don't know what the booth looks like or what there's room for... can anything framed be set up on the tables, or do I need a standing art easel?

Nate- um.... do you still have the tent & stands that i could borrow? i could pick them up tonight.

Amanda- table is small, no room for frames. you'll need an easel. i may be able to aquire some, i'll get back to you asap.

My aunt says she has 3-4 easels for us. I need one so the others are up for grabs.

i'm bringing cash to make change with, as for checks, i think i may just have everyone make them out to me and then i'll pay everyone out. that may be easiest.

Brian- do you think i could borrow your cash box? if not, i'm going hunting at work for one.
