.99 with 15 minutes left.

Doesn't get much cheaper than that.

Alex,

I don't have any FD lenses, but I do have an M42 to FD adapter that can have if you want it. Mount M42 lenses on your FD body.

I want to say I keep seeing a 28mm Canon lens in a case down at Father Time's.

Then again, its probbaly going for a lot more than $0.99

crap, just missed the bidding for that. oh well... i will have to check out father time's next i am in duluth then. i will take anything that's free (mostly) jason, i'll have to get a hold of you next time i am in duluth.

i just really would like a decent 28mm, because i have been using a 50 for about the past 3 years about 95% of the time. i should probably hold off on buying it though because i accidentally pushed my finger into the shutter curtain a couple of weeks ago, so unsure how my camera will perform now, ugh.

I've been using a 28mm 100% of the time for the past three months. Everytime I touch 50mm now I feel like I have one of those gigantic white canon lenses.

i've always been a supporter of 50mm, probably because they are cheap like me. but i'm getting sick of the focal length, and frankly i couldn't tell the difference between a 50mm and a 200mm lens in a picture by looking at it. 28mm seems like the perfect focal length for me right now, and now that i have a camera with a cheap line of lenses, seems like a good time to do it.

This is pretty much the value of a 50. No distortion, some of the sharpest optics, much lighter than a tele. If you need an image without distortion.

My preferred normal lens is a 35. If I had the cash I would skip right over 28mm and get a 21 or 25.
