OK, this is the last thing I'm going to try to sell here. Promise.

This lens is legendary. I managed to score an EXTRA one this weekend, and I'm going to pop it right up on eBay... but I thought I would offer it up here, first. If no one speaks up, it goes on the bay tomorrow.

This lens is in stunning shape. It came with a kit @ Pawn America, and the body (original Pentax Spotmatic) had clearly been CLA'd recently -- light seals and mirror bumpers all replaced. I believe that the lenses were all CLA'd at the time.

Focus is very smooth. This lens is clean as a whistle. In fact, it doesn't even show the yellowing of the rare-earth element that is typical of the lenses, which means that someone took the time to UV treat it not too long ago.

The only reason why I'm keeping the f/1.4 Tak instead of this one is that it is a slightly newer version that couples with the aperture cam on a Spotmatic F (the Spotmatic F was the first Pentax to allow TTL metering without a stop-down mode).

Here's an article on this famous lens:

I'm looking to get $75 for this lens.

That lens is supposedly ridiculously wicked sharp.

Even if you don't shoot pentax, get an adapter and put this on your camera.

Justin,

It's all you. I'm E-Mailing you for details. I honestly believe that you will be pleased -- I know that my 50mm Super Tak is my favorite lens.

Too bad no TTL Metering but Manual Metering is a good exercise.

Well, no automatic exposure modes, but it should still be TTL.. unless your camera doesn't support it. You shouldn't need a handheld meter. With the instant feedback of a DSLR, you should be able to sunny-16 it, anyway :-).

Sorry, I was confused.

Sorry -- I didn't want to come off like a dink there, but in retrospect I might have :-).
