In a 50mm lens for a rangefinder, on top of that. Best have a wiiiiide rangefinder base on that camera, or else f/0.95 is worthless. I think it's just something for rich people to blow their stash on.

Shine on you crazy diamond.

But ,its a Leica. Worth every penny to make my black & white's of homeless people and my cat shine. Bet it even comes with a pre-approved application for Magnum.

But seriously, $11k? Buy a fucking flash and a 50mm Elmar for under $200. This myth that its immoral to use one on a m-mount camera has gone too far.

Nate, Leica M-Mount is 39mm, somewhat smaller than your typical modern bayonet mount. It does look huge for a Leica lens, though. Almost certainly blocks the finder a bit.

"This myth that its immoral to use one on a m-mount camera has gone too far."

There are MANY myths about M-Mount cameras, like, "Owning a Leica makes you an excellent photographer." There needs to be someone to give a rich person a whack on the wrist every time they buy a Leica for show. Bad rich person! You're driving up the market value for the rest of us!
